This information is intended for those who have submitted the transportation form for the 2023-2024 school year.
As previously mentioned, the buses will continue to service all routes, albeit with some delays in reaching the schools.
Update on Bus Information:
Starting today, Friday, August 25, 2023 - you can login to the link below to find your child's bus information,
Some of you may see only "a.m./morning" but it will be the same bus in the "p.m./afternoon."

Afterwards, 9th graders will head to your Homerooms and get their schedules.

We are deeply saddened to share the news of the passing of Southern Nash High School student Eric "Avery" Glenn Creech. Avery, a cherished member of the Marching Firebirds at Southern Nash High School, left us on August 10, 2023.
Avery's life will be celebrated at a memorial service on:

Prior to the service, the family will receive friends for visitation from 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the same location.

47 Nash County Public Schools (NCPS) seniors turned their tassels as they graduated from various high schools in the district on Thursday, July 27, 2023.
The ceremony was held at Nash Central High School for the following schools, Nash Central High School, Northern Nash High School, Rocky Mount High School, Southern Nash High School, and Tar River Academy.
The event exemplified the commitment of Nash County Public Schools to providing a dignified and memorable graduation experience for its students. The summer graduating class of 2023 now enters the next phase of their lives, carrying the knowledge, experiences, and friendships gained during their educational journey.

SNHS will be providing our sophomores and juniors the opportunity to participate in the PSAT/NMSQT test on Thursday, October 12th. Those who take it in their junior year may meet the requirements to enter the National Merit Scholarship Program, an academic competition for recognition and scholarships. The test will be given during the school day on our campus. All students who are interested should sign up at the front office or pay online. The cost of the test is $18 and this must be paid when you sign up.
The last day to sign up will be 9/8/23.
