Exciting News!! Southern Nash High School has established an Athletics Hall of Fame to celebrate the accomplishments of the school's greatest student-athletes, coaches and special contributors. The inaugural class will be selected this summer and enshrined during a celebration in the spring of 2025. More information about the event will be shared at a later date. Honored classes will be selected annually by the Hall of Fame Committee. This group of school and community members will be charged with reviewing nominations that represent over five decades of athletics achievement at Southern Nash. Firebird fans are encouraged to nominate outstanding individuals and teams for the committee's consideration through the online form below or by picking up a paper form at the school's front office. Congratulations to Mr. Finch's Entrepreneurship II Class for earning their ESB certification. ESB certification engages and prepares students who will pursue additional postsecondary training or those who elect to enter the small business sector immediately upon high school graduation. The entrepreneurial concepts validated by this certification ensure that these students are college and career ready.

On Thursday May, 16th, our Advanced Placement US History students participated in their 5th Annual Oral History Project with the staff at the Country Doctor Museum. Students interviewed 31 people who shared their memories of dealing with sickness and disease at a time when healthcare was not as readily accessible as it is today. These interviews were videoed and will be archived on the museum's website. We thank Mrs. Anderson and the staff at the museum for hosting the event and thanks to the community members for supporting our students.
