Greetings,

My name is Chasity Whitaker, and I am delighted to be a part of the Hubbard Elementary School family and serve as your new principal.  Our school community has dedicated, talented members committed to doing what is in the best interest of our students. We will continue to put students first at Hubbard and work diligently to ensure their success.

This is the start of my 27th year in education. I have taught first and second grades,  6th and 8th-grade social studies, and Reading Recovery. I have also worked as an Instructional Coach and Educational Specialist before becoming an Assistant Principal.  I look forward to using these collective experiences as your new principal.

In addition to my professional achievements, my greatest accomplishment is being a mother.  I am a mother to three amazing young men, Brandon (24),  Bryson (18), and Bryan (17).  As a parent, I want the very best for my children and will work tirelessly to ensure our children at Hubbard have the best possible experiences.

I am committed to embracing positive traditions and practices that are already in place at Hubbard, while diligently working to ensure success in the future. I believe all students should receive an exemplary education in an environment that is safe and conducive to learning. Together we can provide our students with an education that will  Light a Pathway to Success to them. 

I am honored and humbled to serve as your new principal.  My door is always open to you, and I sincerely welcome your input and support.  I am excited about all we will accomplish together and look forward to celebrating our collective successes this school year.
