Dear Hornets Staff,
I am excited to continue my career as the Assistant Principal of MB Hubbard Elementary. I am homegrown! I graduated from Southern Nash High School, class of 94. I am married with two children. My wife works for NCPS, and both of my children have attended schools in our district.
I have served in multiple roles such as an EC teacher, EC department chair, School Improvement Team member, and as Curriculum Design Team member. In addition, I had the privilege to collaborate with NCDPI in the roll-out of Pilot courses, collecting data, and presenting our findings to the state board. I have served as the Assistant Principal for Winstead Avenue Elementary School for the last two years.
I attended East Carolina University’s NC Teach program for teacher certification. In addition, I earned a Master of School Administration degree from NC State University (Go Pack)!
It is my hope that my personal and professional experiences, along with the training I have received at two great institutions, will empower me to contribute to the growth of our students, and your professional development. Enjoy the remainder of your summer, and I will eagerly wait to see you in August.
