Today, in Mrs. Waterman's 2nd grade class, students used dictionaries to search for the definitions of words they were unfamiliar with using from the book Sky Tree. The students were excited to use the brand-new dictionaries and to see all the words and definitions listed.

The ECPS and NCPS Demerger/Transition Plan Team convened on Monday, October 16, for a joint meeting. They delivered presentations to the Nash County Public Schools Board of Education, Nash County Board of Commissioners, Edgecombe County Public Schools Board of Education, and Edgecombe County Board of Commissioners during the meeting. The submission of the transition plan to the state is scheduled for November 15.
This afternoon Ms. Whitaker and Mr. Lucas joined fourth graders in the media center as they searched for key details in a novel.

Today students dress as their future careers. We have firefighters, police officers, detectives, doctors, football players, service men and women, pilots, lawyers, fashion designers, and principals too!! Our students are preparing for their future and it looks bright. #HornetPride
