Good Evening Parents, This is your child's principal, Chasity Whitaker calling to welcome our students back to school tomorrow. We are so excited to have our students back in the building. The staff has worked hard to prepare for the students' return. If you will be walking your child in please make sure to park in the parking lot. We expect traffic to be extremely heavy the first week of school so we appreciate your patience during arrival and dismissal. Our staff will be out to help everyone stay safe. Bus routes continue to change as students are added to the buses. We will work closely with transportation to keep you informed about your child's bus information. K-2 students will have a tag placed in their backpack with their bus number on them. Parents please make sure the students' keep their tags on their book bags. This helps us ensure our youngest learners get in the correct bus. Lastly, Bus routes may be a little off as our drivers learn the bus routes. Buses can be 10-15 minutes early or later than the routed time. Again we ask your patience as we navigate these changes. Thank you so much for your support and we can't wait to see you all tomorrow. Have a great evening.

If you have immediate concerns, questions, or trouble accessing your Parent Portal, please contact your child's school today. Next Steps: Please ensure your information is updated in the Parent Portal and that you've downloaded the Nash County Public Schools App and selected your child's school. Our Commitment: We want to reiterate our commitment to transparency and open communication with our NCPS families. While we understand that the schools typically communicate this information, we recognize the situation's urgency. Rest assured that we are working tirelessly to resolve these transportation issues for the safety and well-being of our students.
